Elena has a wide background in engineering and administration. Her
experience in Russia and Moldova includes Quality Systems, Civil
Engineering and Project Management, Expert Evidence, Coordination
contractors with sub-contractors, Declaration of Goods in collaboration
with custom bodies, Participation in Commercial Negotiations, Legal
Consultations.
In New Zealand Elena has worked as a Traffic Engineer, Structural Engineer,
Project Manager, Office Manager.
She has managed small to medium size projects and been responsible for
various intersection upgrades including organizing traffic counts,
analysis, modelling and economic appraisal. She has prepared geometric designs
for highway improvement works including coordination of surveys, services
relocations, cost estimates and report writing. She has also been
responsible for Crash Reductions Studies, Traffic Generation Analysis,
Origin and Destination Studies, and Parking Studies. Elena has extensive
involvement in Management (hiring up to 70 temporary staff), and Analysis
of the large ARC 2003 and ARC 2004 (Britomart) Rail Patronage Survey and
other types of surveys within the Auckland Region.
